It seems to have been decided, one way or another, that the new campaign will be in Miroon. I'll develop some more on the Kingdom of Herondau soon, so that some travelling can happen, but that should do for the moment. I'd like to get people together in Capel St, (if that's ok with [livejournal.com profile] wyvernfriend and [livejournal.com profile] grutok on Thursday evening to roll up characters, and discuss how the group came together. I'd realy like some kind of cohesiveness about that. I can deal with any combination of classes and races, although having seen the group's playing style, I might suggest that someone as well as [livejournal.com profile] wyvernfriend play a cleric - or possibly let her have a shot at some other class. We'll start at level three, so you can multiclass straight away. We'll be running on 3.5 rules, where it matters, and I'll bring those books along on Thursday, including the Expanded Psionics Handbook. If anyone wants to play something really odd, let me know, and I'll bring along Savage Species as well.

[livejournal.com profile] goblin_ballista, [livejournal.com profile] eng_monkey, I've had a look at your character concepts. [livejournal.com profile] goblin_ballista, that's a great character; I think you can pretty much use him as written. What kind of deity were you thinking of? [livejournal.com profile] eng_monkey, that's a rather cool concept. I have a few ideas about how we can deal with the rules aspect of what you're proposing. which I'll discuss with you on Thursday. Had you a character class in mind?

Finally, shall I create an lj community for this campaign, or will I just post here, and/or filter it to players? Preferences?

I kinda want to have a go at a single classed cleric... for a change (when I was in college I played thieves and then mages). Tabitha was my first semi-cleric!

Thursday fine.

That's a pity - can you give me your phone number so I can call you a couple times when we're working out the backstory of the group meeting? That way we can work your character in better.

I have no limitations in mind at the moment, although very alien races, or ones who are larger than about eight feet tall, will be at a disadvantage in an urban-focussed campaign.

What kind of deity were you thinking of?

I'm going to have to go back through my notes because it's been a while but I'll let you know.

ok, [livejournal.com profile] m_nivalis and I have been making inroads on our characters. Cernac wants to sit down and recreate his Criamon. When you going to come round?
