Does anyone know anyone who works for MSN's search engine division, or Inktomi? My work website has suddenly fallen out of the listings, to be replaced by one of the most blatant search-engine / affiliate-program spammers I've ever seen, and we'd like to have this put right. A contact would be da business.

I can possibly get you a contact... but you're SoL until next week - MSN is located in Florida, and have shut down due to the hurricane until at least Sunday. :)

I might be able to get you a contact, since I work in Redmond. Send me a description of the problem at (remove extra spaces) wolf b at mic ro soft dot com and I'll see if I can forward it to the right person. Or at least get you support.

Mind you, search engine algorithms are mysterious. I'm not guaranteeing a fix.

I'm not sure about the Florida/hurricane comment -- maybe that's Inktomi? The MSN division is just down the street.

I'll send you a full description from work on Monday morning - thanks!

On the other hand, the problem now seems to have gone away, and all positioning is back to normal... I'll see what our marketing folk think, and might send you some details anyway.

Anything doing on this? Hurricane sounded pretty horrid, from what I've read on report sites...
