Tuesday Morning Shuffle

I haven't been so reluctant to get out of bed in years. It took me half an hour of actual awake reasoning to bully myself into leaving what was possibly the world's most comfortable sleeping arrangement and getting out into the cold morning air. Even the cat didn't bother to get up for breakfast, just looked at me from her warm nest in the blankets like I was completely mad.
