you helped the old delinquent out, eh?

It provided something to do in the mornings, and gave my mutant French talent something to do.

It was and still is good to live in the shadow of a brother like Steven.

Bruce was saying recently that most of his keeping out of trouble (such as it was) was based on my reputation. Bizarrely, I think some of that is based on the times I was in the principle's office too...

I wonder if Steven ever passed French? It was unbeknownest to me, at least, that you were having any input... certainly the combined efforts of Mrs. Slevin (who was a great lady with a genuine interest in her students, it must be said) and the fact that my mother has fluent French, not a lot made a difference to Steven's total allergy to anything resembling school work... bless.

Principle's office! Mad Sister Madaline! Ma Lennon! Mrs. Caulfield... all weather pitch... confiscating cigarettes... CAN OPEN! WORMS EVERYWHERE!! Just when you think the past can never return!

I lived in Ranelagh for two years, by the way, from 2001 to 2003.

Sorry. I take it it'd be no help to point you at [livejournal.com profile] kehoea, then? :)

I probably walked blithely past you a few times, then.

I think I DID walk by you, but I was exceptionally antisocial and besides, I can't say I exactly knew you! You know, I genuinely think that happened.

I shall now drop by Aidan's journal and leave him a random comment from the old school days. Unemployment can work to one's advantage.
