Gym this morning for a whole hour, and it was hard work. Like, really hard work. Muscles were stiff from the small amount I did yesterday, and weights were difficult even after more stretching than usual. But the sauna afterwards was at 90°C, rather than the usual 75 or so, and It Was Good. I felt pretty much ready to take on anything coming up to the office, and it possibly hasn't quite sunk in yet that I have a LOT of html tuning to do before this afternoon when the Boss is back.

*does quick math* Er. That's approximately 194 degrees Fahrenheit. That's quite... warm. I was in a sauna once at 112 degrees F, and I thought that was quite a good idea. But yikes, man. Wow.

before this afternoon when the Boss is back.

I've been in one at 99°C - that was a solid fuelled one, not an electrical one, and didn't seem as hot. It's very very good when it's that hot, even though you can't stay in for long. Completely relaxes muscles and so on.

*nods* I remember going into a wood-fire fuelled one at a camp I did. They made me douse myself with cold water before coming in. Then one of my friends (Vixen, who I mention de temps a temp in my journal) gave me one of the best back rubs of my life.

Yay for muscle relaxation. Too bad I don't do enough working out to deserve it. I need to get back into my crunches and pushups regiment (the term 'regiment' is used loosely here) and invest in some free weights. I don't walk nearly as much as I did in Dublin (a good five miles on average every day), but I can try to make up for it, at least.
