(Not to imply that non-Dublin people are excluded, if you want to come from elsewhere in the world to catsit, we won't say no.)

[livejournal.com profile] inannajones and I will be in Finland from the 26th of December to the 3rd of January. [livejournal.com profile] olethros will be away for a similar time. We therefore need someone to come in and serve [livejournal.com profile] mirozacat dinner. Ideally, it'd be great if someone could come stay here, so that she gets food and company, and whoever's staying gets the house, the tv, the DSL, whatever's in the drinks trolley and the books all to themselves. [livejournal.com profile] caturah and [livejournal.com profile] puritybrown have done this before, and seem to have survived with no scars. Volunteers?

Hmph. I'd love to. But I'm back to London on the 28th.

Alas, while I'd love to see Dublin, we also have a cat.... (and in addition are away for some of that time)
Poot, &c.

Couldn't stay, but happy to pop in for a few hours each day and cuddle the cat etc if you are stuck.

Now, I am very sorry I am in the Pacific Northwest. Christmas in Dublin sounds just lovely. I must say I am severely Scottish, however. I would limp along.

If you can give me more warning, next time, it might be doable.

What does one keep in a "drinks trolley"?

Grrr. I'd love to. Cats, books, christmas and Dublin seem the perfect combination, but I'm afraid I'm broke at the moment :(.
