Having been woken up with breakfast in bed - which is the best possible way to wake up - I've spent the early afternoon in the back garden. I've planted peas and carrots, both in containers. There will be spring onions and tomatoes next weekend. inannajones did some trimming of overgrown things, and I cleaned out the garden shed. A very productive afternoon. There's some good rosemary out there at the moment, which I want to bring in and dry for future use. For some reason, it's growing very well out there, even though the soil is much heavier than I'm told it prefers.
I'm looking forward to making good use of the garden this year, both for growing things and for barbecues. I want the weather to become just that touch warmer so we can get going.
