Much better commute time today, and I'm getting dug into Harry Turtledove's World War series, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] wyvernfriend's husband. Manky weather again - cold, breezy, and a sort of a wet drizzle down over everything.

World War

'm on book 4. Enjoying hugely. Didn't think I'd enjoy anything in this genre but I am. Don't even mind dearth of female characters.

Re: World War

Is it the sci-fi/history that's grabbing you, or the sci-fi/tactics?

Cos if sci-fi/tactics is the interest, I can't recommend David Weber's Honor Harrington books highly enough...
