Much better commute time today, and I'm getting dug into Harry Turtledove's
World War
series, courtesy of
wyvernfriend
's husband. Manky weather again - cold, breezy, and a sort of a wet drizzle down over everything.

'm on book 4. Enjoying hugely. Didn't think I'd enjoy anything in this genre but I am. Don't even mind dearth of female characters.

Cos if sci-fi/tactics is the interest, I can't recommend David Weber's
Honor Harrington
books highly enough...
