Some miscellaneous scheduling notes, since this is the easiest way to get in touch with indistinct groups of people.

Locksmith's Folly: [livejournal.com profile] olethros is away, and it's the start of the Gaelcon Weekend. No game, but we're back on next week.

Gaelcon: Who's going? What are you intending to do? Will any of ye be bringing EVE cards? Mine could do with some exercise; I've barely touched them since last year. I understand there's one of those pub quiz things on Saturday, anyone not going to that?

Fibbers: It's the Gaelcon weekend, therefore there must be a Fibbers visit. Are people planning to go on Friday, Saturday, or what?

Assault on November: If you're in Ireland and you haven't told me what things you're interested in doing in November, get thee hence and fill in the poll.

Heya...

I'll be there, and the shop won't be, so I will be free for games all weekend (assuming I'm not already engaged in gaming :). I am currently planning on bringing:

EVE CCG
Versus CCG
Hamburgum (new game from Essen)
Indonesia (older game from Essen)
Possibly some Heroclix

Most excellent. I'll reassemble my EVE decks, and try to remember how to play.

Oh. And don't forget the charity auction...

It's on the Sunday evening of Gaelcon, I assume from about 8pm.

Even if you don't plan on going, donations to the auction are always greatfully accepted.

We might go to Gaelcon, but not sure yet. It's getting quite expensive and I only one one game I'd want to play for sure.

Well, obviously it'd be good to see you, but really, it's €28 for the weekend. If you consider that back in 1998 it was £18 that isn't really a big increase at all over nine years. For a con that gets no external funding it's really slightly surprising it isn't more expensive.

I will be oncall :( I barely made Gaelcon last year, with no pub quiz. The year before that, I was in Seattle for work. I HUNGER FOR GAELCON.

Pretty much. I don't know if job#2 will be placing any demands on my time over the weekend (I think I've knocked the last of it on the head today, until next week anyway), but job#1 is too often busy, and our respone times low enough that, well, it's pretty much housebound. After the last few weeks, I may not feel like doing anything exciting in the evenings.

Oh! Except I might not be working on Monday, since it's a Bank Holiday.

Friday is traditionally Fibbers Night at Gaelcon. There may/probably will be people there Saturday too, but you can guarantee they'll be there Friday.

Friday night is default Gaelcon Fibbers night. People will be there on Saturday too, no doubt, and Sunday, and Monday... but Friday is the night...

Satuday from 6-ish there'll be Red Branch/ARC/Oathforged drinks, in Clontarf, before the pub quiz.

I'll be there, with WoW cards, but no EVE.

Excellent stuff. I'll scoot along to the Arcorb drinks and try to tempt ye all away to other games.

I'll be in Fibbers on Friday from, well, 10ish I suspect. Maybe other nights. And I'll be at Gaelcon from late morning/lunchtime every day. And remember to check out the indie games track!

Am I missing something, or is it not on the timetable on the website?
