The list of "Films I Want To See" is at an all-time high:

Treasure Planet
Harry Potter II
Star Trek: Nemesis
Solaris
The Two Towers

I often go six months at a stretch without even considering going to the cinema, and now there are five in the space of two months? I don't have time to go that often.

Around our house Harry Potter 2, The Two Towers, and ST:NEmesis were givens.

We saw HP2 the day it opened and it was as impressive as the first if not more so. Once again, they were faithful to the novel.

ST:N looks interesting even though I haven't seen much about it except in trailers. Of course, with The Two Towers a shoe-in for the X-mas box-office, that'll hurt overall receipts for ST:Nemisis, who (from what I've read) is counting on opening day sales figures to determine if antoher "Next Generation" movie will be made or not.

I saw the movie trailer for Treasure Planet when Joyce and I went to see Santa Clause 2 a couple weeks ago. I wasn't too keen on it right off, but the more I see the TV trailers, the more interesting it gets.

Solaris hasn't impressed me yet and I don't know why. I like Lem, and have carried a copy of _Last_and_First_Men_, and _Starmaker_ around in my library for years, with ...Men) being a favorite of mine.

Good luck with your movie viewing - you'll have to let us know how Solaris was
