Why is it that almost every Irish person on LJ - who I don't know personally - who can write coherently turns out to be into slash? Is the universe trying to tell me something?

Exaggeration for effect, of course.

Personally (as I probably mentioned before) the idea of fan fiction in general strikes me as blasphemous in general. Slash in particular I just find creepy because it invariably seems to involve my childhood heros engaged in crazy shit with a zebra.

Crazy shit with a zebra would be more interesting then most slash I've read. By this it should be clear that I am not a slash fan.... Of course, I'm not Irish either. So maybe I should just shut up on this thread. :)
