Ugh. Busy day. But this organisation thing is great - one of the guys who joined the company recently is a business manager, and he's been sorting things out so that everyone knows what they're doing and when, and it's great. I'm not sure that I'm getting much more done, but it feels like it. I'm currently going cross-eyed from slicing an image, though, so I'm taking a break to eat lunch. I only made it into the gym for a few minutes this morning, thanks to Dublin Bus - long enough to do the weights routine, but nothing more, so I'll go back in on the way home. Or into town, as it is this evening, for Threshold Of Ages, on which Nina is joining me as an assistant DM. We're to have a new player as well, which should fill in the gap left by Danny's departure for Reading. I'm going to give him a human fighter for the first session or two, and let him run up another character when he knows things a bit better.

I'm having a little trouble with a conversation in NWN's toolset. I'm trying to have it go in different directions depending on whether the PC has spoken to the NPC before, and on things agreed to in that first exchange and variables don't seem to be getting set, or something. Anyone know of a way to check whether a local variable has been set from within the game?
