[livejournal.com profile] puritybrown's party last night was great. There's something very good about parties where you know everyone. I deserved a major hangover this morning, I think - and according to [livejournal.com profile] inannajones, I spent a chunk of the night speaking in tongues or something similar - but there's no sign of a hangover as such, just feel tired and have a sore patch at the back of my throat, which is going away with the application of tea.

The plan for today is not to do a great deal, since tomorrow starts the working/college week again. There's some cleaning in the kitchen that I want to get done, likewise some in the sitting room, and some grocery shopping should be done. Apart from that, I want to read through some of the ELH - I've only gotten as far as page 10 since Friday night - and do some writing.

I've come to the conclusion that I have a cold, and have had for about the last two months. But it only comes out to play when I'm relaxed - it vanishes when I'm at all tense. Unfortunately, I was a bit relaxed today, and the bugger's come out in force to the point where I'm not well at all. I suppose what I need to is to be relaxed for a few days, and let it run its course, but I won't have time for that for months... I'm also very very tired - we both are - and that's not much help.
