Something that's bemusing me. The Rest of the WorldTM put the clocks forward last weekend, and nobody anywhere remarked on it, except me, because I run a website for a largely American audience, and so have to adjust things. And this weekend, the USA changed, and suddenly my friends list, mailing list, and everything is full of people giving out about it. Now, since this is an instance of Americans out-whinging the Irish, something heretofore thought impossible, I'm curious. What's the problem with summer time?
Another point on the list of reasons to spend more money on earthquake and volcano research: LA is perched right on a non-surface fault.
