I have a theory. Is it possible that being relaxed could make me sneeze? If I'm tense in work, I don't sneeze. Let things relax, coming into a Friday afternoon, and I'm off. I sneeze in the mornings - a lot - until I wake up properly. And if someone gives me a shoulder rub - boom, there goes the neighbourhood. I don't want an allergy to relaxation...

Yes. You are quite obviously allergic to relaxion and must now remain in a heightened state of awareness and tension forevermore or suffer machinegun-like sneezing fits. I'm sorry to have to be the one to break it to you, but...

When the day comes that there's a TH meet that we're both at, I'm gonna drink about four nice relaxing pints and sit near you.

yup sirrre

well if its any help I cough when I relax methinks I hold tension in my upper body and especially my chest ....even if I'm having my back massaged I end up having a fit of coughing, like wise yoga does the same esp toward the end when I'm relaxed perhaps you hold tension in your nose *grin* (or respiratory system)
Still this is no solution to your problem :(

Massage

Can be a pretty dangerous thing if not done properly, especially if you are prone to tension. Side effects for me include the shakes, pain, dizziness and coughing. The key is to keep it up until you're in a steady state of non-tension and it doesn't do that anymore.

If you think about it, it makes perfect sense - I was having work done on my neck and spine, and important things run along there from the brain, so you can easiler trigger reactions.
